Medici Dossier and the London Market: Update

Last night the Art Newspaper revealed that two lots due to be auctioned at Bonhams today appeared to feature in the Medici Dossier.

The sale is taking place now but here are the outcomes for the two lots in question:
  • Lot 94: Attic red-figured pelike, attributed to the Eretria painter (Michael Padgett [1993]). Collecting history:  "European private collection, formed between the 1960s and early 1990s. Acquired by the present owner in 1993. Accompanied by an Art Loss Register certificate." Estimate: £3000-5000. Apparently unsold.
  • Lot 95: Head oinochoe. Collecting history: "Swiss private collection formed in 1960s-1970s". Estimate: £2000-3000. Sold: £3600.
