According to a report by AFP, 57 Iraqi antiquities were seized in a car crossing from Syria to Lebanon on Sunday October 26, 2008. Further antiquities were seized when a house was raided.
Images of the seized objects, supplied by Joanne Farchakh Bajjaly, have been posted on the Ancient World Bloggers Group.
